Cannonsville Reservoir

One special September day, I stumbled upon this beautiful place in New York’s Catskills. While admiring the scenery from the passenger’s seat, I spotted a small clearing in the woods and asked Kyle to turn around.  We follow the little path down to the reservoir and were greeted with this magnificent view!  It was an accidental find but the image has stayed with me.  The shore made of stones and the hazy, old mountains in the distances were embedded in my mind.  I knew that soon I would recreate this view as a mosaic.
