This painting is inspired by the countless awe inspiring Autumn days spent in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado where I live. Starting in mid September and going till mid October, I love taking road trips across the Rocky Mountain State. This is when I get to take in Mother Nature’s Color Show on camping and hiking trips with my family. With this painting, I tried to express the collective beauty of the season, the vivid aspens, the dramatic mountains, our perfect Colorado sky and just the overall grandeur of nature that you can sense while taking in the incredible vistas.
