  • This is an Archival Giclee Print signed by the Artist.
  • The Edition Number is Open but the Print is only available for a Limited Time
  • It is 17″ by 17″ (actual printed image size is 16″ by 16″ with a 1/2″ white border all around – this border is typically covered by the mat of the frame though a frame with no mat can work really nicely as well – if you are unsure about what frame to order, its a good idea to wait till you receive the print.)
  • It is printed with archival inks on high quality matte paper.

  • The print is wrapped in wax paper and rolled up into a tube for shipping.
  • Continental US Shipping is FREE during Print Sale. After PreSale it will be $10.95.

Description

This print is of a painting that was inspired by Autumn in the San Juan Mountains of Southern Colorado where I live. When the fall weather conditions are just right – warm sunny days and cool nights – the trees turn the brightest yellows and oranges. I love watching the, slow initial change of Color. Usually as early as the beginning of August, I will spot an occasion yellow spot on a random tree here and there. But all of a sudden, as September nears the end, finally a brightly colored landscape emerges in the high country and veils the peaks in almost fluorescent hues. This scene is the epiphany of the Autumn color explosion especially if the sunset rivals the show that the trees put on for a brief moment.
