The Last Bloom
The Last Bloom, acrylic on board, 9″x12″ , 2022 ~SOLD
This painting inspired by Autumn in the San Juan Mountains of Southern Colorado where I live. When the fall weather conditions are just right – warm sunny days and cool nights – the trees turn the brightest yellows and oranges. I love all stages and displays that fall gives us but it does feel extra magical when all the trees are fully turned and peak all at once during these favorable conditions. It is especially incredible to witness this driving into a special place for a camping/hiking trip, hoping to catch some of the wonderful color display that Autumn prepares for us but you arrive at peak season and all the trees are in unison dressed in golden oranges, that’s hitting the jackpot!
The painting is varnished in satin, has a signed certificate of authenticity on the back as well as a hanging wire.
